About me

I was born in Ithaca, New York and grew up in Gainesville, Florida. From 2009-2013, I studied mathematics and philosophy at Dartmouth College. After graduating from Dartmouth but before starting graduate school, I worked as an analyst (and later as an engineer) at Amazon. I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Arizona in 2022 under the supervision of Juan Comesaña. As of October 2022, I am part of the COGITO Epistemology Research Centre, working with Mona Simion.

Before COVID, I spent a fair amount of time each year in South Carolina with my parents, Mari and Steve (pictured below); were it not for their support, I would have surely given up long ago on being a philosopher.
